Visiting a new church for the first time can feel a bit intimidating. We want to do our best to make you feel loved and cared for. When you arrive, you can expect to be greeted by friendly faces and receive a gift from us!

Our worship gathering typically lasts around 90 minutes. Each week we worship together by reading the Bible, praying, singing songs, and hearing the preaching of God’s Word.

We want you to wear whatever you feel comfortable in! Your presence is most important to us.

You’re not required to bring anything! You’re certainly welcome to bring your own Bible or a notebook if you’d like. The Bible translation we typically use in our worship services is the English Standard Version (ESV). We have ESV Bibles available each week for you to use during the service, and you’re welcome to take one home as our gift to you!

Your kids can actually stay with you during our worship gathering! At Greater Glory Church, we firmly believe the church is not just for adults. We truly love and value kids. It brings us great joy to sing, receive God’s Word, and pray together in the presence of our children.

We chose our name because we believe it captures our greatest desire: to see God glorified in all of Detroit and to the ends of the earth.

The Bible compels us to declare God’s glory among the nations and his marvelous works among all peoples (Psalm 96:3). We firmly believe God is worthy of greater glory, and he receives greater glory when we turn from our sin, trust in his Son, worship him, and tell others about his marvelous gift of salvation.
